This talk will be given by Jon Dodd who is originally from London and now lives in Miltown Malbay. Jon Dodd has been repairing all types of flutes for over 25 years. During this time, he has undertaken work for leading players from the traditional music scene and many professional orchestral players.

He moved to Miltown three years ago and has set up his workshop there. He receives work from all over Ireland and is recommended by and well respected by Ireland’s leading flute makers.

He will give guidance on the care of the flute and how to identify when repair is required.
