- A rich and unusual collection of traditional song, showcasing a singer of outstanding feeling and versatility with the ability to bring these songs alive.

Geraldine Bradley is originally from Bessbrook (Cloch Fhuarain), Co.Armagh, one of a well known musical family. Her songs are drawn from sources such as Roise Bean Mhic Ghrianna (Roise na n Amhran), Beth Cronin and Neili Ni Dhomhnaill, whom she met in Rann na Feirste, Co Donegal many years ago. Influences of Folk and Country genres can also be heard in Geraldine’s interpretative style.

Geraldine has been involved in song and singing from an early age and has taught traditional singing to all age groups both as an independent tutor and for Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann. As a teenager Geraldine performed on various occasions on Radio na Gaeltachta and became well known on the Belfast Folk Scene during the 1980’s playing the Sunflower Folk Club as a solo performer, and with bands Craobh Rua and Drumlin. Geraldine also performed at successive Women’s Day events in Queens Mandela Hall and the Ulster Hall. She shared the stage with Dick Gaughan at Liberty Hall in 1985 and more recently with Arty McGlynn at Magee College, Derry in 2003. Other gigs have included the Music Under the Mountains Festival, Wicklow, Appel D’Irlande Festival, Gap, France and An Culturlann, Beal Feirste 2003/4. Geraldine featured along with her brother Paul Bradley (Fiddle) and Paul Mc Grath (Banjo) at the Galway Arts Festival 2006 playing the Roisin Dubh.

Geraldine’s new Solo Album: “From The Rising Spring - Cloch Fhuarain” is produced by Neil Martin (West Ocean String Quartet) who plays Cello, Uileann Pipes, Keyboard and Low Whistles on the album. Geraldine is also joined by Paul Bradley on Fiddle, Martin Quinn on Accordion and Noel Lenaghan, Backing Vocal. Donal O Connor and Alan Burke (At First Light) play Guitar and Bouzouki. The album is engineered by Rod McVey who plays Hammond Organ and Accordion.
