The Four Courts Ceili Band
The Four Courts Ceili Band is based in North Clare and is steeped in the tradition of the areas of Ennistymon, Kilfenora and Lisdoonvarna. The Band is as much at home playing in John Vaughan's Barn in Kilfenora every Thursday and Sunday night (52 weeks of the year) as at Festivals throughout the world or on Cruises in the Carribean. They are regular performers at the Ennis Trad Festival and no doubt their many friends and followers from around the country will joint them for a few sets on Sunday afternoon.

The band features the leader and master of dance music Peter Griffin from Lisdoonvarna on accordion, Joe Rynne from Ennistymon on fiddle, Seamus Hynes, the wonderful flute player from Kilshanny, George Byrt, the ageless wonder on keyboards and Brendan or Aidan Vaughan (also a dancer) on drums. They are occasionally joined by other musicians including Chris Droney on concertina.

Because the members of the band have been reared with the music and dance tradition of North Clare, they play the best Clare music that you could ever wish to dance to.
